Just looking

Sometimes you see a thing that you want so much
That its just an arm stretch away to get it
But all you can do is just watch
So you watch greedily and observe every single inch you can
You make the best out of the meager minutes that you have
With that miserable minutes, you savor as much as you can
The worst part is being given a chance to be a witness to your desire
Your brain takes a twice the spin of the normal 360 degrees
The hype starts to build up
You gain the courage and you see a future
Your full of confidence that your bound to redeem your desire successfully
But alas, when the not so ideal world kicks in
It all falls apart
Your left to thrive on the rubble that you created in a split second
As I stand on the high end of my desire
I laugh to myself thinking...
What a bummer I am to even have such a thought
Imagine all those stories that you heard when you were a kid
Well... Helloo...This is the not the ideal world
Why am I still holding to this stupid desire that I have?
