Tim Pun Gor Gor@SS2 Petaling Jaya

So after eating sushi we decided to find this dessert shop "Tim Pun Gor Gor" at SS2, PJ. We didn't have any address. All we know it was in SS2 near the food court there and bits of memories from Kiwi's flash back of reading it in some magazine. You bet we found the place. After countless driving in circles and inspection of every lane. And the easiest way is to look out for the food court which is in an open area and drive around it. Or just look out for the sign Evarian. It is a huge sign board on the side of the shop lot row. You'll never miss it. The shop is in that row. I heard there's also one in Kepong.

Durian pancake
Durian Pancake RM 4.00 per piece
We didn't see the price properly and assumed it as RM4.00 for two. But it was vice versa. It actually resemble the durian except its square. The skin was so thin and soft. Not too sure what its made off. And it is a good combination of durian and the cream. And not to forget it spells out high calories. Hahaha... The taste... Well it was worth the money. A must try I would say.

Double skimmed milk custard
Double skimmed milk custard RM 5.50
The menu stated that this dessert is served in Hong Kong. So I guess it must be famous. The first thing that you expect when it reaches your palate is that it would be sweet and no doubt milky. Well the first expectation was wrong. It was not that sickly sweet and the latter was undoubtedly true. A must try if your a dairy product lover.

Sushi Tei @Tropicana Mall

Its been ages since I had Japanese food. So me and my buddy Kiwi decided to head on to Sushi Tei, recommended by her cousin.

Kaisen Kaminabe
Kaisen Kaminabe RM 18.80
It was a seafood spicy soup served on a paper. Amazingly the soup didn't seep through the paper. This soup was not too spicy kind of like a mild hotness. It tasted like miso soup with a dash of chilli. And it tasted nice. I would recommend it a must try when your there.

Chicken Katsu
Chicken Katsu Don RM6.00
Nothing special to comment about.

Salmon sushi
Salmon Sushi RM 3.80
I know there's something wrong with the color and I do not know whats wrong with it. I've edited and uploade it a gazillion times. Nah not gazillion but I was literally implying that I tried my very best to rectify it. Muahahaha.... This was the nicest salmon sushi I've evertasted so far. Better than Sushi Zan Mai I would say. It was so fresh that it didn't have those fishy kinda taste and the texture was so smooth. Or maybe was it because we were one of the early birds at the restaurant.
A must try.

Chicken roll
Chicken Roll RM 8.00
This sushi claimed to have avocado paste in it. But I couldn't see it. Probable it was very little. The taste was just normal. It didn't have the wow factor as its appearance is.

Jo Unagi
Jo Unagi RM6.00
The Unagi was very big.
